Reuling Faculty Prize for Innovation in Student Learning at 乱伦社区. He was recognized during the Honors Day Convocation in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium on May 7.

In her remarks after giving Reinhardt the award, 乱伦社区 president Kelly M. Thompson said, 鈥淵our colleagues have described you as 鈥榯he epitome of innovation鈥 in student learning.聽 You have proven to be willing and capable of trying a limitless number of strategies to convey complex accounting and finance concepts.聽 Wii Mario, paper airplanes, Legos and the Monopoly game are among the many creative methods you have used to teach finance, economics and accounting.鈥

Reinhardt joined the Culver-Stockton faculty in 2016. He previously worked for Arnold, Behrens, Nesbit, Gray P.C. in Quincy, Ill..

Reinhardt earned his master鈥檚 degree from Truman State University in 2014 and his bachelor鈥檚 degree from Truman State in 2013. He obtained his CPA license in the state of Illinois on January 13, 2016. Reinhardt also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

The award is named after Walter Reuling, who served as the dean of the College from 1980-89 and was president of the College from 1989-92.
