The post C-SC named NAIA College of the Month by NCSA first appeared on 乱伦社区.]]> CANTON, Mo. 鈥 乱伦社区 has been named the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) College of the Month for August by Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), a Chicago-based for-profit organization that connects middle and high school student-athletes with college coaches in 34 sports and teaches them about the college recruiting process.

The NCSA recognizes athletic programs at each division level 鈥 NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and the National Junior College Athletic Association 鈥 that have successfully utilized NCSA鈥檚 platform to draw interest from potential recruits.

鈥淐olleges聽of聽the聽Month鈥澛燼re determined by聽the聽total number聽of聽NCSA Favorites each program receives over a聽month.聽NCSA Favorites are driven by聽the聽college-search activity聽of聽the聽more than two million student-athletes within NCSA鈥檚 recruiting network. When an NCSA user has favorited a college, it signifies their strong interest in that school and provides a snapshot of which athletic programs are staying active on the NCSA platform by drawing recruiting interest, logging profile views and messaging potential recruits.

This activity also provides insight into how colleges are recruiting right now. The COVID-19 pandemic had led some college recruiting away from events and in-person meets to online activity.

鈥淚 have been incredibly impressed with how nimble our coaches have been in navigating the recruiting process during this pandemic,鈥 said Pat Atwell, director of athletics at Culver-Stockton. 鈥淭his honor from NCSA is a prime example that they will leave no stone unturned when it comes to finding quality student-athletes.鈥

Culver-Stockton was ranked 26th among all colleges and universities in the NAIA in the NCSA Power Rankings for 2019.

聽are based on proprietary analysis using the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges, 2017 graduation rates from the National Center for Education Statistics, the institutional net cost (or average cost after aid) from the NCES, and 鈥淣CSA Favorites鈥澛爓hich identifies the most desirable schools according to current high school student-athletes on the NCSA platform.

Culver-Stockton was identified by 3,974聽student-athletes in NCSA鈥檚 network as a school they鈥檙e interested in.聽Culver-Stockton was the second-highest ranked NAIA college in Missouri and the third-highest ranked college in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

C-SC is ranked No. 9 in football among NAIA programs and No. 20 in women鈥檚 lacrosse.
