- Current certification in ServSafe (HACCP) or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Position Summary:
This full-time position is responsible for providing injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes, developing prevention programs, and collaborating with coaches on training plans.

Position Summary:
As a member of the Student Life staff and the Senior Housing/Residence Life Officer, the Coordinator of Residence Life is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all residence life operations, including hiring and supervising all residence life staff and ensuring a viable student life program in the residence halls. The Coordinator of Residence Life is also responsible for the continual assessment and evaluation of the personnel and programs that comprise the overall residence life program.听
The Coordinator of Residence Life contributes as a member of a highly collaborative Student Life staff.听 In addition to Residence Life, Student Life is comprised of Counseling and Wellness Services, Mabee Center and Intramurals, Student Conduct, and Student Engagement (activities, clubs and organizations, and Fraternity/Sorority Life).听 The Office of Student Life is committed to educating and empowering students of promise to build a welcoming campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

The selection, hiring, and training of all residence life employees, including both professional and student staff.

Promote, coordinate and evaluate residence life programming that will address student issues and concerns while establishing residential communities that are safe, healthy, and welcoming.

Develop a residential experience for students geared toward learning opportunities that partner with the college鈥檚 academic initiatives, commensurate with both the college and Student Life mission and vision.

Plan, coordinate, implement, and supervise all operational functions of residence life, including room assignments, check-in/check-out procedures, damage assessments, cleaning and safety inspections, maintenance requests, and space selection.

Monitor residence hall staff compliance with health and safety issues and ensure that appropriate referrals are made, and documentation is provided, when necessary.

Assist RAs in the on-going evaluation of their residents鈥 needs and work together to provide a supportive response.

Educate residents about college and community expectations.

Serve as a conduct officer in addressing student issues by adjudicating documented incidents and recommending disciplinary action in regard to behavioral misconduct.听 The Coordinator of Residence Life is responsible for providing training for the RAs that may write conduct reports.听听

Assist the Dean of Student Life in the development of residence life policies consistent with college policies and standards of conduct.

Coordinate all written communication relative to Residence Life. This includes the editing and publishing of all Residence Life policies and procedures in the student handbook, administering the terms and conditions for on-campus living to residential students, and establishing and publishing a calendar including all significant housing-related events for each academic year.听These documents are to be routinely updated, with communication being delivered to various constituents in a timely manner.

Assist with budget preparation for the Residence Life program and monitor departmental budgets.

Assist with the identification and prioritization of residence hall facilities and equipment needs.听听

Maintain strong relationships with both internal agencies (physical plant, campus safety, etc.) as well as external vendors (laundry services, linen services, marketing consultants, furniture manufacturers, etc.) whose services are critical to the functionality of residence life.

Coordinate with other campus departments (athletics, admission, campus safety etc.) for events that require the use of housing facilities (athletic camps, events hosted by local groups and agencies, local emergencies and disasters, functions held by private groups).

Prepare residence life housing reports as requested.

Assume regular availability for student emergencies on campus and provide consultation for on- call staff members in emergency situations.

Is part of the administrative on-call rotation and when on call must be available to respond to emergencies.听听

Remain educated on best practices and new developments for the areas of residence life, housing, judicial affairs, and student development and disperse information to residence life staff when appropriate.

Represent the Office of Student Life on matters related to residence life and serve on committees as necessary.听听

The Department of Counselor Education at 乱伦社区 in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time 9-month Core Faculty position in Counselor Education to begin fall 2025.
The College will consider applicants as either residential or remote positions. Those who serve in an on campus residential capacity would be considered for a tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor of Counselor Education. Applicants who elect for a remote assignment would be eligible for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer of Counselor Education. Depending on years of teaching and relevant professional experience, a remote non-tenure track position may receive advanced appointment as Senior Lecturer in Counselor Education.
The program has a small department of dedicated faculty members who prioritize a commitment to the development of competent and compassionate counselors, as well as maintenance of a collegial work environment based on respect and shared responsibility for programmatic success.
乱伦社区 offers its master's degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling to prepare students pursuing licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Missouri (LPC) or school counselor. The program is designed for working adults with classes offered online and (2) week-long听campus residencies. The program is seeking CACREP accreditation.
The successful candidate will design and teach online courses and in-person week-long summer residencies, provide clinical supervision, advise students, attend graduation, assist with CACREP accreditation activities, and provide service to the department, university, community, and profession. In addition, the candidate will relate professional/industry experience to learning by the continuation of professional skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of professional/industry trends and opportunities.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education (ABD will be considered; degree must be conferred at the time of the appointment), must be either Missouri licensed or license-eligible as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a certified school counselor, have at least two years of clinical and/or teaching experience at the graduate level in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or School Counseling, membership and active involvement in professional counseling organizations, and a sense of humor. Candidates with school counseling credentials are strongly preferred. Preferred experiences include online course design and delivery, supervising and advising counseling students, and working with CACREP.

Engage with community members to align the objectives, research, and projects of Tri-State Development with current and emerging regional issues through committees, task forces, advisory board, or community roundtables.

Identify projects and programs within the scope of Tri-State Development that qualify for external funding, develop strong cases for support, and collaborate with College administration to submit high-quality funding proposals.

Secure sponsorships for the annual Tri-State Development Summit and ensure all sponsorship commitments and metrics are met.

Lead and oversee the planning and execution of the annual Tri-State Development Summit in collaboration with a host community planning group, including developing conference materials, securing speakers and presenters, coordinating accommodations, and ensuring a seamless registration process for attendees.

Effectively manage the annual operating budget of Tri-State Development.

Enhance the visibility and reputation of Tri-State Development and 乱伦社区 by actively engaging with the community and collaborating with educational, professional, civic, and private organizations, as well as economic development councils and corporate partners.

Position Title: Resident Director

Employment Type: Quarter-time, 10 months, exempt
Position Summary:
The Resident Director plays a key role in the residence life鈥檚 department goal of ensuring a living-learning environment conducive to the personal development of approximately 750-800 students living on campus in coeducational residence halls鈥搕wo (2) halls for first-year students, five (5) halls of upperclassmen, and six (6) on-campus college-owned Greek houses. The position relies upon working with a team that includes the other Resident Directors, Coordinator of Residence Life, and student staff members (Resident Assistants) in order to accomplish this goal in a variety of avenues. These avenues include but are not limited to, staff training, crisis management, programming, and being visible on campus and in the residence halls.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish a presence in the hall as a live-in professional staff member.

Share evening and weekend on-call responsibility for emergency situations.

Educate residents about college and community expectations.

Assist with and participate in 2 annual trainings (July and January) for Resident Assistants (RAs) as well as ongoing professional development opportunities.

Assist RAs in the ongoing evaluation of their residents鈥 needs and work together to provide a supportive response.

Maintain constant communication with the Coordinator of Residence Life regarding student, staff, or facility concerns.

Communicate with RA staff in assigned halls regularly and establish a presence in the hall as a live-in professional staff member.

Attend and assist in the programming efforts of RAs whenever possible.

Build relationships with 乱伦社区鈥檚 Campus Safety staff.

Intervene and deal with inappropriate behavior and complete documentation as necessary.

Serve as a trained conduct officer hearing low-level conduct issues.

Maintain confidentiality of all departmental and institutional information in accordance with the Privacy Act as well as established policies and procedures governing the release of information.

Become familiar with resources for residential students and serve as a mentor and positive role model.

Attend departmental meetings when required and appropriate.

Assist with projects/events in Residence Life. Projects may include, but are not limited to, covering the Residence Life Office in the absence of the Coordinator of Residence Life, airport/train station shuttles, Room Draw, RA selection/interviews, closing of buildings during breaks, fire safety checks, etc.
Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with college-aged students.

Must have the ability to work on nights/weekends on a duty rotation with other staff (will be on duty about every three to four weeks)
Compensation:
Resident Directors receive a $2,500 annual stipend, a campus apartment, and a meal plan. If this person is also serving as a graduate assistant, they would forego the $2,500 stipend for a 6-credit hour tuition waiver for each of the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

The Vice President for Finance and Administration, who reports directly to the President, serves as the university's Chief Financial Officer and is part of the President鈥檚 Senior Leadership Group. The VPFA/CFO is primarily responsible for ensuring the College鈥檚 financial stability, overseeing its business and financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting, investments, capital projects, human resources, payroll, risk management, legal and contractual matters, facilities management, and information technology.
